Official Contest / Sweepstakes Rules
These rules apply to any StepWard in‑app contest or sweepstakes (the “Contest”). By participating, you agree to these Official Rules.
Organizer
StepWard (“Sponsor”). Contact: support@stepward.app.
No Apple Involvement
Apple is not a sponsor and is not involved in any way with this Contest. Apple does not endorse, administer, or sponsor the Contest.
Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18+ (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) who have a valid StepWard account. Void where prohibited. Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible.
Contest Period
Each Contest will specify its start and end dates/times within the app (local time of the user’s device or as stated). Entries received outside the stated period are void.
How to Enter
No purchase necessary. Follow the instructions in the app, such as completing step goals, challenges, or specific in‑app actions that award entries. Limit and method of entry are as displayed in the app for each Contest.
Prizes
Prizes, approximate retail values (ARV), and quantity will be described in the app for each Contest. Prizes are non‑transferable and may not be substituted, except at Sponsor’s discretion.
Winner Selection & Odds
Potential winners will be selected at random from eligible entries (or per the skill criteria stated). Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Notification & Verification
Potential winners will be notified via the app or by email and may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, and/or provide proof of identity within a specified time. Non‑compliance may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Taxes
Winners are responsible for any and all applicable taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
Conduct
Any attempt to interfere with or manipulate the Contest, including use of bots or fraudulent data, is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Health and motion data is used only to operate in‑app features and remains on device unless you choose to share it.
Sponsor’s Rights
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impair the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Governing Law
Unless otherwise required by local law, the Contest and these Rules are governed by the laws of the Sponsor’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict‑of‑law provisions.
